postpartum weight loss

It's been three weeks and one day since I had my daughter. The morning I went in for induction, I was 180.1, and as of yesterday I am 153. That's not counting the (at least!!) 20 lbs of water weight, which, I realize I didn't have to work to get off, but still makes me feel good. . . I've lost around 50 lbs.

That being said, I'm not really doing anything to loose the weight. I'm just breastfeeding. The first week and a half or two I didn't have an appetite at all, but now it's back. Mostly, I'm drinking a shit-ton of water. I get SO thirsty- which is weird because I never drank water before.

I go back to the doctor the 30th which is when I get the ok for sex and exercise (so ready!) but I feel like I've been working out as it is. Willow weighs around 7 lbs 10-12 oz. right now, so she's tiny, but I'm constantly lifting her, holding her, running up and down the stairs to switch laundry that she's spit up on or whatever, so I'm getting a work out.

I know it's been forever, but lately I haven't been feeling the crazy need to loose weight. . . It's just been gradual.

Today has been crazy. I had coffee for the first time in like a month and a half. I think my body had detoxified itself. I've literally been shaking for over an hour. It's crazy.

Nothing but coffee today. I will make sure of that.

My body looks like crap. I am sick of it.

toilets

My dad left my mom and I a note on the kitchen table today about how the toilets were acting up.

I've known this for a while.

He asked if any of us have been throwing stuff like Q-tips in there.

Nope, I haven't.

I did throw slices of a peach in there. And chunks of a sandwich, and cherries. . . and basically everything I didn't want to eat that I could smuggle in there.

Hopefully if anything's stuck in there it'll dissolve and we won't have to call a plumber or anything. That would be bad.
